Palm Seeds
Not very many palm species originate from Mediterranean climate areas, nevertheless those that do, plus an array of subtropical and even tropical species have adapted well there and they are very popular garden landscape plants. Palms are not difficult to raise from seed but you will need patience! And patience starts from germination, as most of them will require several months before they appear aboveground. And then you will need several years for them to reach a substantial size. However, having raised and nurtured a palm from seed is one of the most satisfying experiences in a gardener's life, I'd say! Give it a try!
